This includes Regular and Reserve Force and Veterans, Current and former Cadets & Junior Canadian Rangers, and Afghan Nationals with an enduring relationship to Canada.

Youth Skills Ontario

Starting a skilled trade career in Ontario? Helmets to Hardhats has you covered for safety training!
Choose from:

  • In-person packages: Pick from three options with WHMIS and basic safety included. Choose extras like working at heights or first aid. Training happens at various Ontario locations.
  • Online courses: Select 5-15 online safety courses you need, like fall protection or electrical safety.

International Brotherhood of Electrician Workers local 105 in Hamilton will be running Entry Pointz, an introductory course that provides hands-on learning opportunities in the electrical field. This program also includes safety certification training and equipment operator training, which aims to equip participants with the skills and confidence necessary to excel on any work site.

This program is developed jointly by the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers/Boilermaker’s National Training Trust Fund , CWB Group and CWB Welding Foundation and is funded through the Employment and Social Development Canada- Union Training and Innovation Program (UTIP).
